Find The Name - Do A Reverse Email Search

By Don Zens on March 07, 2010

On the Internet it always seems like you give your email address to one person and before you know it everyone has your email address. Most of the people you do not even know so it would be considered spam mail.

Before you know what happened your inbox is getting loaded down everyday with emails that you have not a clue of who the person is. Some you will not think twice about and you will just delete them. Then there are others that appear to have some of your information that you do not recall giving out to anyone. It is these emails that will drive you crazy wondering if you know the sender or if it is just a lucky guess on their end.

Do not make yourself crazy over these emails any longer. You can easily find out exactly who sent the email to you by doing a reverse email search. There are many different websites that offer these services for the public to use. Many of the sites are free for conducting your search on while some will charge you a fee for the search.

The information you will learn about the email in question will help you out tremendously. You will see who the sender is whether it is an individual or a business. Upon seeing this then you will know if you actually know the sender. If you do not know the sender then the email would be considered spam.

If you are getting spam then you will wonder how to stop spam from coming to you. The best way is to report the email as spam and then block the sender. This will keep the person from that email address out of your inbox.

Another way for keeping the spam away is by filing a report. Gather as much information about the email address as you can. This would include the name of the person, phone number, address, IP address, etc. The more factual information you are able to find on the person then the quicker your report can be dealt with and the person shut down.

Sometimes the actual report can also be filed with the service provider. If the provider is Yahoo then you can report the email as spam to them. They will look into the matter and if they find the person is sending out spam then the account will be shut down. There are many providers that do the same thing because they do not want people abusing their services.

The Internet can be a safe place as long as you are careful with whom you communicate with and conduct your business with. Since it is cyberspace you will not actually see the senders of any emails or the companies you do business with. With this in mind do not give out your personal information to just anyone that is asking for it in an email. This could be a disaster just waiting to happen and it would involve your name and your credit rating.
